The friendly with Congelton had to be stopped just before half-time due to ice rink-type conditions at the court edges.

Because of the hot weather and fantastic work being put in by all players, the sweat was condensing on the cooler walls and making the floor slippier than a greased weasel.

The match is to be rearranged at Holmes Chapel in a couple of weeks. Watch this space for more information.

The 2009/2010 season is creeping up on us and, as we approach a new challenge, we have a new site.
